The aim of this project is to develop a fertility regulation application using decision table.         The Objectives are to:
  • Formulate fertility regulation algorithm.
  • Develop a decision table from the algorithm.
  • Implement the decision table using a High Level Programming Language (MATLAB).

The scope of this project is to develop a fertility regulation application using Decision Table for women that will help them in monitoring their menstrual cycle themselves and will allow them in planning their family without any artificial family planning method. This proposed application will be limited to female Fertility regulation and is limited to women that are having a regular menstrual cycle of 25 – 31 days.
The simulation tools use in this research is Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB). MATLAB is a high-level language and interactive environment for numerical computation, visualization, and programming. Using MATLAB, you can analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models and applications. The language, tools, and built-in math functions enable you to explore multiple approaches and reach a solution faster than with spreadsheets or traditional programming languages, such as C/C++ or Java. You can use MATLAB for a range of applications, including signal processing and communications, image and video processing, control systems, test and measurement, computational finance, and computational biology. More than a million engineers and scientists in industry and academia use MATLAB, the language of technical computing.

The software require for the operation of this system are:         i.            Windows operating system from Windows XP to later.       ii.            MATLAB Compiler Runtime (MCR) version 8.1
